Visiting Steph 2
Steph's parents brought me to see the Thean Hou Temple which was supposedly quite well known in KL. The place was not as far as I had expected and with no traffic, we got there in about 30 minutes. The weather was so hot though and walking around the temple grounds just made me sweat like mad and feel dehydrated.
Getting some "holy" water from Guan Yin but you have to step on this ledge on the floor for the water to actually come out.
Getting a divination lot from the temple but apparently you were supposed to think hard and pray for what you want to ask. Steph and I were too busy playing to even think of praying. Still, I got a pretty good lot which told me that I was born under a lucky star, blessed with happiness and longevity.
A wall decoration at the temple. It's pretty and colourful.
This is an overview of the main temple hall. There were a lot of tourists around and Steph said that even the locals would come here to take a few photos of their own.
Imitating the pose of the cute cartoon monk behind me.
This part had statues of the 12 animals but I like the dragon cos it was the most elaborate and beautiful.
Steph and her bull...moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....
Heh heh...rat look-alike contest.
Steph is trying to 'jiang dao li' or talk reason and act intellectual...hhohohoho...
