Returned
I'm back from my trip to Melbourne and Sydney. My apologies to those who have been waiting patiently for me to update my blog, heh, now that I'm back, I'll try to write down as much interesting stories as I can. The only problem is, I'm exhausted. The 14 hour train ride back was a killer and has totally drained my energy. Plus I had to do 2 loads of laundry, unpack my bags, vacuum my room and change all the bedsheets. Now I'm tired and I just want to snuggle up in my quilt and go to sleep. Fortunately I managed to get about 5 hours of sleep when I got back home this morning. During the entire train ride, I was unable to find a comfortable position to sleep in. I woke up so many times during the night and once, my whole right leg went numb (which was pretty scary) and I could poke my foot but not feel anything at all. Later on, the same leg cramped up. We did meet a very adorable 6-year old on the train and I was very amused by him trying to fight my friend and my friend doing his best to fend off the attacks. Heh that was so interesting, even the other passengers watched and some woke up just to watch the scene. In the end, the boy was really sweet in going up to my friend and thanking him for playing with him and giving my friend a hug. I think my friend was very touched by this gesture as well.
I did miss home while I was away. I especially missed my bed, with the warm quilt and bolster. I also missed my computer (suffering from withdrawal syndrome!) but it wasn't as bad as missing my bed. It was freezing in Melbourne and I really needed the quilt. I haven't had a good night's sleep in the past 10 days. I think I'll catch up on all the sleep I missed right now. Good night, I'll update you guys on my trip tomorrow.
