I caught Resident Evil: Extinction yesterday. It was a last minute decision to watch this show and I was surprised to see it being available at the cinemas so early when the actual release date was 11 Oct. The show was short but I liked the action. There was lots of killing, blood everywhere. The plot was not fantastic but then I don't really expect much from shows like these. I watch them mainly for the blood and gore. I think Chris and Kit didn't quite enjoy it because they were a little scared. But I'm glad I caught it anyway. Incidently, Channel 5 was showing Resident Evil: Apocalyse at 10 pm last night and when I reached home, I watched that as well. I do like the Resident Evil series but I don't think that there'll be a fourth one.
I've been in a charitable mood this week. I bought a Noah's Ark calender 2008 from my friend and I went down to Plaza Singapura to take a look a the Acres exhibit there. When I first got there, I couldn't find the exhibit and I thought that I might have got the date or location wrong. Then we saw it right behind the MRT exit. It wasn't obvious unless you walked to that area specifically. So we were entertained for a few minutes by this guy with his magic coin trick and then signed a petition for the "Animals Matter To Me" campaign and donated some money. They were trying to collect 4000 signatures. After that, we walked around the exhibit looking at posters explaining the different kinds of animal cruelty. It really is quite sad to see how horribly animals are exploited and treated by people. I figure that animals need more care and concern and I would rather donate to organizations like Acres than NKF. This whole week reminds me of the dog at my workplace, the chicken industry on which I did a whole lot of research on for my honours and the possum. That saddens me.
