Girls' Night Out

Funny poses!

Cranium boardgame...very colourful. (yes I know I'm acting cute)

The Cranium gang!

To carry on from my last post, after having dinner with Mantou, we walked back to her place. She wanted to get her game, Cranium, and pack some clothes since she was staying over that night. She showed us some lame clips, including one with these 2 Korean girls singing and doing really stupid dance moves. I think it was some kind of competition, maybe to see which pair could dance the lamest. Anyway, it was hilarious and one of the girls actually looks like my friend and my friend is the kind who is super enthusiatic and would totally be as spontaneous as the Korean girl. Hence it seemed so weird because I kept thinking of that girl as my friend. Mantou actually wanted us to mimic their moves so that she could film them down as she did with her other friends. Hahaha no thanks...I'm really full you know, I don't want to end up puking on your clean floor.

Actually I was feeling quite sian (from slacking too much at home I think), so didn't really have much mood to play the game. But I don't regret playing it at all. I invited Mildred up at 11.30 pm since she knows Mantou and they were reminicing about the part. Chris joined us after she took a bath and brought lots of snacks. Potato chips, M&M, cookies, oreos (this is mine) and we munched throughout the night. Steph joined us at about 1 am and we chatted until Mantou got us to start the game. Cranium is like Pictionary + Charades + testing your general knowledge and English. You get to act, hum, draw, sculpt (with plasticine) or do word puzzles. My favourite was the acting bit. We took videos of everyone who acted and watching them just cracks me up. I swear, we were laughing like we were high on something and if my neighbours weren't away on holiday, they would have knocked on the door and complained already.

We kept playing until the sun came up and still I didn't feel sleepy. I guess I was too hyped up on the laughter. We stopped at 6 am; amazing that we stayed up all night just to play this game but it was worth it. After bathing and talking to Mantou for a while, I fell asleep and slept like the dead. Mantou had to leave around 11 am to meet her friend but I continued sleeping until it was 5 pm! Unbelievable!!! I slept when the sun came up and woke up when the sun went down. Well, I enjoyed the sleep and I enjoyed the game.

I made a non-bake cheesecake with digestive base. I used Steph's oreo base recipe but modified it to suit myself. I hope it turns out well. The digestive biscuits smelt great and I think the base is thicker than the cheese top. Oh well, I've always preferred eating the base anyway. I can't wait till tomorrow so that I can try my creation. That reminds me, I still need to think of something to cook to Marie. She's been so nice to us, giving us food and a chilli plant. It's high time we did something for her in return.
